Aiden is very excited that Grandma and Grandpa Dean are back from Florida! Now that they have returned they're in a mad rush to get prepared for sugaring season, which includes dealing with the 3 feet of snow that have fallen over most of Vermont in the past 2 weeks. We spent Sunday "helping" out with packing down a sugaring path through the woods (read: we cruised around on the "Sugar on Snowmobile" over and over and over and over again along the path loop in order to widen it). Andy thought it was a chore, as you can imagine! Also we found some time to snowshoe around the woods and then warm up inside with coffee and some milk! Mmmm! Aiden Aiden Poop had a great day.

Visitors from Beantown/NYC
Here it is! Our first family BLOG!
Last weekend we had quite a crowd up here in VT to enjoy our 3 ft + of snow left by the "VD Blizzard"...All 5 Downers, Rebs, Aly, Tim and Wiley! Aiden Aiden Poop enjoyed swimming in their hotel pool at the Wyndham, shopping on Church St., margaritas at Roque's and hanging out by the woodstove with all his new friends (though he missed the big sledding event on Blackberry Lane itself) :) It was great to visit with everyone and catch up. Abbie, Michaela and Alivia are getting so big! It is truly crazy having 3 kids..i don't know how the Downers do it since we are constantly exhausted with just our little Mr. Poop.
If I look like a demon in any of these pics, its because Aiden gave Andy and I pink-eye last week (!)- thanks, daycare! It's great to wake up in the middle of the night to a crying baby, only to stumble out of bed and find your eyes are crusted shut with goo and you have to feel your way to the crib, pat around blindly for the pacifier, repeat the blind patting until you find the baby's face, and re-insert the binky!
