Mountain Mucker, Take 2

This year the Mount Sunapee Mucker adventure race was especially challenging.  Not due to the course, necessarily, though that was straight up the mountain, but the heat.  It was 95 degrees and humid by the time Sonya, Kyle and I headed to the start line for the last (12 noon) heat of runners.  I'd say Mike and Andy didn't have it much easier at 11 am either.  It was pretty brutal, and slow going too.  We managed to finish, with only a few obstacles skipped due to Kyle's healing wrist and for Sonya's and my sanity!  All's well that ends well, though, and we sipped our cold free beers in the biergarden when we finally slid across the finish line, covered in mud.

The kids "micro mucker" was earlier in the day, thankfully, and not quite as hot.  Aiden, Molly and Finn got "mucked up" and were happy to go home with their bags full of swag too.  Team Leisure Beavers got the job done!
