Summer camps

Now that Aiden is elementary school aged, there are so many options for him over the summer.  He is enrolled in a drop-in recreational day camp as a baseline, but we could literally have filled his 10 weeks of summer with different activity camps.  Golf, tennis, horseback riding, drama, British sports like handball and rugby, basketball, art, nature exploration...you name it and it seems like there is a summer camp for that.  There is even one in our area for circus arts like flying trapeze and trampoline!  With Aiden's guidance on what he was interested in, we've got him signed up for a soccer camp, a bird watching camp in VT (he'll stay with grandma Sally for that one), a Star Wars themed Lego camp, and a water fun camp at the aquatic center.  Andy and I kind of wish we were 6 too...a lot of these camps look fun!

So far, soccer camp went well.  Lots of good exercise in the sun, rain, and everything in between.  No wonder this boy sleeps like a stone...
